Inclusive teaching

About this course

The main objectives of the training are to upgrade trainers' skills in managing intercultural competences and improve the range of skills, experience, and knowledge so that they can respond to the needs of pupils from different backgrounds, convey common core values, and take an active stand against all forms of discrimination. Additionally, teachers will understand how the Greek education system is working.

Participants will participate in workshops, and interactive sessions with peers from private, and public schools and administrative authorities.

Participants will be taught how to be active creators and developers of tasks rather than just passive manipulators of a program done by someone else, enabling them to develop basic skills such as creative thinking, critical thinking, planning, problem-solving, and decision-making. In other words, they would learn.

Most lectures are hosted on ECTE premises. All lectures need the participants to be interactive in a peer learning approach and can be implemented in a school or university lab environment.
